INEC delivers for C48 the general arrangement, all steel class drawings, machinery and equipment drawings and diagrams.
Furthermore INEC assisted to model trials and stability calculations.
Description of Project:
C 48 is an oil/chemical tanker classified according GL with ice class E3. During design of vessel IMO, SOLAS, SeeBG and other relevant regulations have been borne in mind.
C 48 is a single screw motorship with double hull.
The cargo area consists of 16 fully segregated tanks fitted with deep well pumps and a striping system. All cargo tanks can be connected with each other. The total cargo tank capacity is 8200 m³. It is possible to load cargo with a maximum gravity of 1,86 t/m³ without loading restriction. Cargo with a gravity of 2,2 t/m³ can be loaded with a loading restriction up to 7,03m. The vessel is equipped with an inerting system for the cargo tanks. Furthermore an aft Manifold is fitted.
The
accommodation is fitted with cabins for 14 People Crew, a Pilot and the Owner.
For the recreation of crew, two mess rooms (one for crew, one for officers) and
a recreation area with sauna is provided. The mess rooms are fitted with dining
corner and lounge.
